How do you charter a bare boat or what is the procedure to find a skippered yacht? What kind of license is needed to cruise without a skipper on a yacht you have rented? Is skippered boat expensive then bare boat? How do you find a good skipper? This are all the questions that I would like to answer in this post.

Whenever you charter a boat it is advisable to mentioned at the beginning procedure if you would like to charter a boat with skipper or just a yacht without any crew. The procedure is not that different but charter company would try to find you a better skipper in a shorter time. You can take also a yacht with other crew then just skipper. When you are considering to rent a boat without a crew you need to check if you have license that will cover of controlling with the length of the vessel.
