ACI Marinas in Croatia

 When you charter a luxury boat (Yacht, Sailboat or Gullet) in Croatia people would like also some good service when you visit marinas. This is why was in the year 1983 established first ACI Marina in Croatia and is still setting high standards for all other marinas.

Today there are 21 marinas from North (ACI marina Umag) till South (ACI marina Dubrovnik). ACI Marinas offer modern and safety berths close to the restaurant with local cosine – Mediterranean food. Quality of the marinas is regularly checked and are valued from helpfulness of the stuff till the appearance of marina.

ACI Marinas are valued as one of the best marinas not only in Croatia but around the whole world. All Marinas offer good infrastructure where you can refill fuel all do all necessary quick repairs. Marinas are located in center of bigger towns or in the untouched nature. This is why they are so popular when people are visiting Croatia with charter Yacht or Sailboat.

Charter Sailboat or Yacht? What is better for you?

 You have decided that you would like to spend your holidays on a boat, but you do not know what kind of boat would you took? Are you type for luxurious yacht or luxurious sailboat? Price can be similar but what about the experience?

Bigger the yacht or sailboat is more it has straight surfaces. If you need more surface it is better for you to chose yacht. Yacht have wider and straighter surfaces. While sailboats have surface made for leaning – most of the surfaces on sailboats become straighter when sailboat is leaned. Yachts are more appropriate for children while they can run on bigger surfaces.

You have to decide if you prefer speed and wind or even more speed and sound of powerful engine. Sailboats can achieve really fast speeds while sailing but are leaning when stronger winds fill sails. Sailboats are for people who prefer adrenaline and would like to try something new. With the sailboat you do not have any additional costs for driving it.

Other way is with the yacht. Sure it gives you a lot of power when you press the throttle and can achieve higher speeds but all this cost. All the fast driving in luxury it will cost you a lot in fuel. And when you need to refil a yacht this will consume also a lot of your time while reservoirs are extremly big in sailboats.

When you are thinking where you can get better price? Sailboats are a bit less expensive to rent then yacht. You can get a sailboat from 1000€ per week and all the way to 50.000€ (300.000€ for biggest sailboat – Maltese falcon) on the other hands you can get good yacht for 3000€ per week and for the top level yachts there are almost no limit for rent.

I advise you to rent a yacht and a sailboat for shorter period to see what is better for you. Some are for wind and other for the speed. If you chose sailboat do not forget about leaning.
